We finally got the schedule we’ve been waiting for. Ever since the Big Ten announced it would be playing a conference only football schedule, fans have been eagerly awaiting the official game schedule. We finally got it and oh boy did Purdue have some changes.

Here is the updated Schedule for each school:

The biggest changes are that Purdue draws Ohio State as their tenth game (ouch), as well as flipping the Nebraska game from in Lincoln to home in Ross-Ade, and flipping the Wisconsin game from WL back to Madison.

The opening stretch now becomes a sort of murderers row beginning the season at Michigan before hosting Iowa and Ohio State (welcome back Buckeyes). That is a tough opening 3-game stretch as I could imagine. The bye week before Wisconsin will be a welcome break as well as extra prep for a Badgers team that Purdue hasn’t beaten in, I think, 50 years.

This whole situation is weird, so try and embrace the weirdness of it all. Let’s just hope we still get a football season and we can try and enjoy it the best we can.

What do you think about Purdue’s revised football schedule?

As always, Boiler Up, Hammer Down, Hail Purdue!
