Purdue got some great news while the 2020 NFL Draft was taking place. 2021 recruit Khordae Sydnor officially announced that he was committing to the Boilermakers! 247 Sports lists Khordae as a composite 3 star, 6’4, 230 lb Strong Side DE from New York. Check out his commitment video here!

With Khordae’s commitment, it pushes Purdue’s 2021 class to 7 total commits. It’s the first defensive line commit for 2021 and I would not be surprised to see him make the move to OLB in Bob Diaco’s 3-4 defense. Either way I am a fan of either line commitments as I believe they are the foundation of both offense and defense!

Khordae committed with 20 total offers, but the other major offers besides the Boilers include Arizona St, Army, and Boston College. Also, he was also being looked at by Penn St and Maryland but no official offer was given. Interestingly enough he also received offers from Harvard, Pennsylvania, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell and Columbia, so he has gotten interest in some Ivy League schools showing his skills in the classroom as well.

Welcome to West Lafayette Khordae, we can’t wait to see what you do in the Old Gold and Black!

As always, Boiler Up, Hammer Down, Hail Purdue!
